The Institute of Pastoral Counseling (IPC)

Improve your pastoral counseling skills without ever leaving home through this certificate program. IPC is designed to prepare ministers, missionaries, and lay leadership around the world for a stronger, biblically based counseling ministry within the local church.

Your lessons arrive on cassette tape or in book format with accompanying notes. Lessons include a self-test and answer sheet to complete and return to EMERGE for scoring.

IPC costs just $34.95 per lesson, plus shipping/handling and a one-time enrollment fee of $35.

Do you qualify for a discounted IPC price? After standard enrollment procedures and your $35 nonrefundable enrollment fee:

  • missionaries and pastors of churches with 100 or less average weekly attendance qualify for IPC lessons at $29 each plus shipping/handling.
  • the spouse of a current IPC student may enroll and then receive his/her own lesson materials at a discounted fee of only $24.95 per lesson plus shipping/handling.

Study subjects that will make you a better helper and study at your own pace. The typical schedule is one lesson per month; multiple lessons per month are available on request. (NOTE: All lessons are created and presented by Dr. Dobbins unless other authors/creators are noted.)
